How the app works

Step by step — from signing up to trading with other collectors on the Marketplace.

1. Sign up and start your collection

Just an email and password. Right after signing up you get 15 free credits for AI coin recognition — collection tracking itself is free forever, credits are only needed for automatic photo recognition (see below). Besides your password, you can also log in with your fingerprint or Face ID, if your phone or computer supports it.

2. Adding a coin

For a new coin you can: photograph it right in the app, upload a photo from your phone, or enter everything by hand with no photo at all.

The app's AI recognizes the country, year, denomination and an estimated market value — and for special commemorative 2€ coins, even the specific design. The result is always fully editable, so you can correct anything before saving. Manual entry without AI is always free and never uses a credit.

3. Collection overview and complete sets

The app organizes coins by country and year. Owning all 8 standard denominations (1c–2€) for one year and one country earns that set a +15% value bonus. For Germany each mint (A/D/F/G/J) counts as its own set, and completing a year across all 5 mints earns an extra +10% on top.

The app also tracks commemorative 2€ coins separately and flags it when you come across a rarer piece.

4. Marketplace — trading and selling between collectors

With active Marketplace access you can offer your duplicate coins to others and browse what's missing from your own collection. Agreeing on a price, payment and shipping all happen directly between the two of you — the app only connects you, it's never a party to the trade.

You can mark coins missing from your collection as watched — the app emails you as soon as a matching offer appears on the Marketplace, so you don't have to keep checking yourself.

The buyer pays the seller either via a QR payment to their account or cash on delivery — the app never holds or guarantees the payment. The "Verified" badge on a user means an administrator manually checked them — it isn't independent identity verification, so we still recommend cash on delivery for larger amounts.

You follow the whole order (interest → price offered → paid → shipped → received) in the app under Orders.

5. Credits & Marketplace

Credits are only spent on AI photo recognition (taken or uploaded) — manual entry is always free. See details and prices on the pricing page.
